Yes, I'm trying to do this as well. 😜 I've been a bit curious about this. Unfortunately, there's no behind the scenes of the book and cartoon. The book is supposed to be just based on notes and sketches, it's never been properly written, so then why does the cartoon credit Dr. Seuss himself as having written the cartoon? The cartoon seems to be timed for the release of the book, yet on the Dr. Seuss Wiki, someone claims they read it in 1974. -- Signed by James (talk) 10:54, 27 July 2021 (UTC)

Dr. Seuss or Theodor Geisel

The opening of the film says "Daisy-Head Mayzie by Dr. Seuss," followed by "Written by Theodor Geisel," the real name of Dr. Seuss. I was wondering which name we should use for his page? -- Signed by James (talk) 18:10, 27 July 2021 (UTC)

Could be possible he had involvement in the film, but I can't really tell. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 18:34, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
The film was made in 1994, and he died in 1991. His wife was involved in the film, though. The back of the VHS box said it was based on an old manuscript of his. I was just wondering which name would be more acceptable for his page? -- Signed by James (talk) 18:36, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw the year he died, but didn't see the year this was made. In that case, it's possible he had involvement before his death, that or the credits were wrong. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 18:44, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
