The Invisible Girl, the alias of Susan "Sue" Storm, is a superheroine and one of the founding members of the Fantastic Four, who starred in the 1967 cartoon of the same name. She is the older sister of Johnny Storm and the girlfriend of Reed Richards. She is voiced by Jo Ann Pflug.

Exposed to cosmic rays during a flight to space, she and her companions were given extraordinary powers and became part of a superhero team. In Sue's case, she gained the ability to turn herself invisible and generate force fields. She generally acts as a level-headed, maternal member of the group.

Behind the scenes

  • The Invisible Girl is a Marvel Comics character created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. She made her first appearance in Fantastic Four #1, published in 1961.
  • Since Fantastic Four #284 (published in 1985), Sue has adopted the name Invisible Woman, following a decision to make herself more confident.
  • In the mainline comics by Marvel, Sue is married to Reed Richards and has two children, Franklin and Valeria Richards.
