Sergeant Blast and Private Meekly are the drivers of the Army Surplus Special (designated #6), and main characters in the Wacky Races animated franchise. Their voices were originated by Daws Butler and Paul Winchell respectively.
In DC Comics' Wacky Raceland reboot comic series, Sergeant Blast is a young transgender woman.
