Scooby-Doo! and the Mystery Pups was an American CGI animated educational television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation for Cartoon Network and HBO Max's Cartoonito children's block. It is the fifteenth Scooby-Doo series after Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! It's the first Scooby-Doo preschool series. It has since been canceled after HBO Max backed out as a distributor.[1]
Scooby-Doo and Shaggy become camp counselors to a trio of puppies (the next iteration of Mystery Incorporated) who solve mysteries in a sleepaway camp.

Development
The series was announced to be in development on May 23, 2022, with a 2024 release date.[2] Two days later, Roger Eschbacher announced he was a writer,[3] as did Becky Wangberg and Sarah Eisenberg in July.[4]
On March 4, 2023, Eschbacher relayed a message from an unidentified colleague who worked on the series, that HBO Max had backed out of distribution, thus ending production, although it may resume if another distributor can be found.[1]
Casting
On May 23, 2022, Matthew Lillard and Frank Welker were confirmed to be reprising their roles as Shaggy and Scooby, now camp counselors.[2]
