"Playmate Pup" is the thirteenth and final episode of Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy season two, and the thirty-ninth overall, which came as part of The Quick Draw McGraw Show. It aired in the week of January 23, 1961 in first-run syndication. It was written by Michael Maltese, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

Augie makes an invisible playmate named Lonesome Leonard, who Daddy keeps offending.
