"Ape to Z" is the first episode of Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy season three, and the fortieth overall, which came as part of The Quick Draw McGraw Show. It aired in the week of January 30, 1961 in first-run syndication. It was written by Michael Maltese, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

Augie brings home an escaped zoo gorilla.
