"Pete's Big Break" is the eighth episode of The Little Rascals season two, and the forty-fourth episode overall. It aired on November 19, 1983 on ABC. It was directed by Cynthia Friedlob and John Semper, and voice directed by Gordon Hunt.
After Pete rescues a girl's puppy from drowning in a river, the girl's father, a television producer, rewards them with roles for a dog food commercial. However, Pete has eaten too much of the dog food during rehearsals and Alfalfa reluctantly fills in - wearing a dog costume.
