The episode title is a play on the 1999 film Never Been Kissed.
Bubbles received aura powers in "Power Up Puff."
When Professor Utonium slides backwards, an instrumental version of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" plays.
The song Logan sings is a parody of Marty singing "Earth Angel" in the 1985 film Back to the Future. The scene in which Marvin Berry calls his cousin Chuck, only this time, it's just to say that he doesn't have the sound Chuck's been looking for.
