"Mr. Bom-Bom" is the fifth episode of Around the World in 79 Days season one, and came as a segment of the Cattanooga Cats. It aired on October 4, 1969 on ABC. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

In South America, Crumden starts a storm in Phinny's path, but upon dropping the balloon's anchor, they accidentally hit a gorilla on the head.
