In revenge against Bubbles for costing them the kickball game by treating her stuffed animal as a real player, Buttercup steals Octi, but ends up enjoying his company herself until she loses him.

This is Packrat's first full length appearance, as he previously appeared had a non-speaking cameo in the "Who's Got the Power?" short.
Buttercup at Phillies is a parody of the 1942 Nighthawks oil canvas painting by Edward Hopper.
Buttercup calls Bubbles "Bubbs."
