"Hero on the Half Shell" is the twenty-fourth episode of Touché Turtle and Dum Dum season two, and the fiftieth overall, which came as part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series. It aired on August 12, 1963 in syndication. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.
Touché's nephew, Teensy Turtle comes to spend the weekend with him and Dum Dum, but Teensy also wants to help catch an escaped convict named Moose.
