"Egyptian Jinx" is the thirteenth episode of Around the World in 79 Days season one, and came as a segment of the Cattanooga Cats. It aired on November 29, 1969 on ABC. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

In Egypt, Crumden tries to cut Phinny's journey short by getting Phinny's balloon down and trying to scare Phinny, Jenny and Hoppy with a fake haunted pyramid.
