Bubbles rejects her sisters and sides with Mojo after a series of accidents make her ugly after taking her school photo.

Behind the scenes

• The episode title is a play on Phantom of the Opera. Bubbles also becomes a satire of the title character as well.
• In two of Bubbles's school photos, she looks like Ziggy Stardust (due to the lightning bolt across her face) and Fabio.
• Haley's Hair Salon is named after the writer Haley Mancini.

Everlasting influence

• Blossom wears her school photo outfit again for a campaign outfit and negotiator outfit in "Presidential Punchout" and "The Big Sleep," respectively.
