"West of the Pesos" is the first episode of Hokey Wolf season two, and the twenty first overall. It aired as a segment of The Huckleberry Hound Show. It first aired on October 13, 1962 in first run syndication. It was written by Warren Foster, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.
Hokey and Ding-a-Ling enter Dry Gap Gulch Flat. With some trickery, they arrest Orful Meany, but Hokey is then stuck as a sheriff.
