"West of the Pesos" is the twenty-fourth and final episode of Hokey Wolf season one, and came as part of The Huckleberry Hound Show. It aired on August 31, 1961 in first-run syndication. It was written by Tony Benedict, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.
Hokey and Ding-a-Ling enter Dry Gap Gulch Flat. With some trickery, they arrest Orful Meany, but then Hokey is stuck as a sheriff.
