"The Movieland Monsters!" is the twenty-sixth episode of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? season two, and the fifty-second and final overall. It has yet to air in the United States, but has aired in Australia on April 7, 2021 on Foxtel. It was written by Michael Ryan, produced by Chris Bailey, and directed by Kexx Singleton.

Real life celebrity Carol Burnett invites Mystery Incorporated to test out her new amusement park for classic movies, which thanks to virtual reality headsets, you can live out lives of the characters from the movies.

Tracy Mark Lee's first take on the title card had the episode originally called "The TV and Movieland Monsters!"[1]

The theme song, entitled "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?", was written by Chris Bailey, and performed by David Poe. It was produced by Vivek Maddala. The episode's main music was performed by Peter Bateman and Sunna Wehrmeijer.

Behind the scenes

  • With every episode's title card, one of the gang announces the guest star, which is Shaggy this time.
  • The movies the gang and Carol enter are Casablanca and The Searchers released by Warner Bros. Pictures, and A Night at the Opera and The Wizard of Oz originally released by MGM.
  • The episode ends with the same song and Carol tugging at her ear (a message to her grandmother) the same as every ending of The Carol Burnett Show.
