Concept art of potential look.

An untitled revival of The Jetsons was being worked on by Hanna-Barbera in 1996. The pilot was written by Ed Scharlach,[1] after which, creators of the What a Cartoon! anthology series on Cartoon Network were assigned to work on the visual style, including David Feiss.[2]

The pilot was about the Jetsons family replacing Rosie the robot maid getting replaced with a human maid, which would have been considered revolutionary. The family changes their mind when the kids get upset that Rosie is gone and the human maid's attitude is more than they can handle.[1]
