Behind the scenes
- With every episode's title card, one of the gang announces the guest star, which is Scooby this time.
- The flashback disregards keeping in line with the A Pup Named Scooby-Doo continuity.

Errors
- Fred refers to the hospital as Eastside General Hospital, despite the fact the sign only says Eastside Hospital.
- Kristen Schaal is clearly older than the gang in the present, but the flashback depict her around the same age as them.
- Shaggy and Scooby react to the monster after opening the door, despite the fact both of them had their eyes closed.
- Schaal looks the same in her 8th grade photo.
