Behind the scenes
- With every episode's title card, one of the gang announces the guest star, which is Fred this time.
- How many times does Shaggy say, "Zoinks"? Three times.
- How many times does Daphne say, "Jeepers"? Twice.
- Macklemore has photos from "What a Night for a Knight" and "Hassle in the Castle". The first of which is of the gang looking up after inspecting a book, and the second is of the gang unmasking Bluestone the Great.
Errors
- The gang refers to Macklemore being an actor, despite the fact he only had one true acting credit before this episode, which coincidentally was also a caricature of himself.
- When the whole gang reacts to Macklemore being pulled into the ground, Velma's lenses are missing.
- The umpires from the present and past look the same.
- The original cracks on the baseball collectible store are gone when the camera pans out for the full explosion. The baseball image also changes from white to light blue.
- Macklemore wanted to say the "meddling kids" line since he was a kid, which only makes sense from a real-world perspective, as within the cartoon world, Macklemore is older than Mystery Inc.
