Springtime for Thomas is the twenty-third animated theatrical short of the Tom and Jerry series. It was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer on March 30, 1946. It was produced by Fred Quimby, and written and directed by series creators, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.

Tom and Jerry's usual cat and mouse routine is interrupted by Tom's infatuation with the opposite sex, so Jerry schemes to get another cat involved.

  • While this is Toodles's first appearance in a Tom and Jerry cartoon, an early version had previously appeared in the non-Tom and Jerry short, The Alley Cat. An early version of Butch was also a protagonist in the latter and had also been previously transferred into the Tom and Jerry series with Baby Puss.
  • Har-Puss Bazaar is a parody of Harper's Bazaar.
