Smurfette is one of the main characters in the animated TV series The Smurfs. She is voiced by Lucille Bliss.
She is originally created by the wizard Gargamel, as a way to spy on the Smurfs and spread jealousy to their village. However, she decides that she wants to be a real Smurf and Papa Smurf casts a spell that changes her hair from black to blonde as a sign of her transformation. Before Sassette's debut in season 5, Smurfette was the only female Smurf in existence.
