Scoob! Holiday Haunt, also stylized as SCOOB! Holiday Haunt, is a canceled American Christmas supernatural comedy film, acting as a midquel to Scoob! The film was produced by Warner Animation Group for Warner Bros. Pictures who would have distributed it through the digital streaming service HBO Max by late 2022, but after a regime change with the hiring of David Zaslav as President and CEO for Warner Bros. Discovery, the merger between AT&T and Discovery, Scoob! Holiday Haunt was seen as a financial liability and elf-shelved indefinitely.
To celebrate Scooby's first Christmas with the gang, they take him to a holiday-themed resort run by Fred's uncle. While there, they uncover a 40-year-old mystery and, yes, learn the true meaning of Christmas.

Scoob! director, Tony Cervone, teased Comic Book Movie on July 6, 2021, that they were working on a follow up with the same people,[1] which was officially confirmed to be Holiday Haunt on December 22 of the same year.[2][3]
Casting
The cast was announced on December 22, 2021,[2] which included the reprisals of Frank Welker, Iain Armitage, Ariana Greenblatt, McKenna Grace, and Pierce Gagnon as Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred, respectively, along with guests Mark Hamill, Cristo Fernandez, Michael McKean as Uncle Ned,[4] Andre Braugher as Chef Dave,[5] and Ming-Na Wen.
On August 3, 2022, additional guests were confirmed to be Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, J.B. Smoove, and Patrick Warburton.[6]
Filming
On December 22, 2021, Tony Cervone announced that Reel FX was animating the film again.[4]
On August 2, 2022, the film was cancelled,[7] despite being "practically finished."[8] at 95%, according to writer Paul Dini.[9]
On August 19, 2022, an unfinished print was privately screened for some of the cast and crew, which included actors Frank Welker, Ian Armitage, and Ming-Na Wen, and co-director Michael Kursinky.[10]
The Petition
In response to the cancellation of the film, Benjamin Haller, son of co-director, Bill Haller, made a petition at Change.org on his behalf.[11]
Music
Despite being cancelled, producer Tony Cervone announced on August 6, 2022, that the score was still being recorded because they had already hired the musicians and the Eastwood Scoring Stage.[12]
