"Loot to Boot" is the first episode of Hokey Wolf season two, and the twenty-fifth overall, which came as part of The Huckleberry Hound Show. It aired on September 7, 1961 in first-run syndication. It was written by Tony Benedict, and produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

Hokey and Ding-a-Ling apply for a watchdog job at Mula Manor. When a burglar robs the place, the wolves get the blame until Hokey clears the matter up.

Behind the scenes

The Millionaire's design is copied from Colonel Packingham Putney of the Yogi Bear short "The Runaway Bear." Since their both millionaires, and look almost exactly the same, it could be possible that they are the same character.
