Hulk Hogan

Terry Gene Bollea is an American retired professional wrestler and television personality. Known in the ring as Hulk Hogan, his rise in fame was dubbed Hulkmania.

Hogan was interviewed for the Space Ghost Coast to Coast episode "Sleeper." A clip was reused in "$20.01."

On November 14, 2014, WWE published a video on YouTube that featured Hulk Hogan announcing that he would be starring in Scooby-Doo! and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon. However, on July 24, 2015, he was terminated from WWE when his sex tape was made public, which included racist remarks by him. Let it be noted that the problem seemed to be less about the fact that he was in a sex tape, and more about the fact that he was being racist (or simply that the racist remarks had eclipsed the fact that he was in a sex tape to begin with).

It's unknown what kind of role Hogan would have had in the film and if he had actually recorded any lines at that point or his announcement was as far as his involvement went.

In 2018, Hogan and WWE had reconciled.

A failed tribute

In 2010, Hogan sued Post Consumer Brands for defamation and exploiting his name without his permission after including a character called Hulk Boulder in its "Cocoa Smackdown" commercial. Incidentally, Hogan was previously called Hulk Boulder.
