Harry Boyle is the patriarch of the Boyle household, and the protagonist in the animated TV series Wait Till Your Father Gets Home. He is voiced by Tom Bosley, who was best known for playing Mr. Cunningham from the sitcom Happy Days.

Character description

Harry is middle-class American worker likely in his 40s-50s. He is overweight and has a bald head, save for a few strands of hair. His work attire usually consists of a brown suit with dress shoes and a tie.

An old stick-in-the-mud, Harry's political beliefs lean mainly on post-World War II conservatism. He mainly disagrees with his two elder kids, Chet and Alice Boyle; both of whom are counterculture in nature. The only other child that agrees with Harry is Jamie, a young penny-pincher. Despite their back-and-forth arguing, he, the kids, and his wife Irma are able to set aside their differences and revert back to an everyday life.

Harry is also a next-door neighbour to Ralph Kane. The former is the more skeptical of the two, as he is often confused by, and raises objections to Ralph's far-fetched conspiracies.
