"Escape Artist" is the fifth episode of Wally Gator season one, and came as part of The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Series. It aired on October 1, 1962 in syndication. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

To ensure that Wally does not escape from the city zoo, Twiddle has a dog named Snoozer watch over him.
