Ranger Smith sticks a flier on a tree hoping someone will see the random advertisement for a kids' skateboarding competition that is rewarding the winner with a hundred dollars. The flier is instead found by Yogi and Boo Boo, and Yogi wants to enter. He builds a skateboard out of a do not feed the bears sign and wheels from a dumpster. Yogi then practices a little, not doing so well.
Later, all the kids gather for the skateboard competition. There are two events, with the teen Hot Dog Hogan doing very well, but he has tough competition with a certain Hamburger Harry, who is really Yogi in clothes he found along the way to the skateboard area. Yogi comes out on top, but when he receives the money, Ranger Smith feels his furry hand, and begins to suspect something is wrong with Hamburger Harry. Ranger Smith chases Yogi, who picks up Boo Boo along the way, racing into the river. Ranger Smith finds the tops of Yogi and Boo Boo's heads, and asks Yogi if he's seen Hamburger Harry. This round goes to Yogi.
