Behind the scenes
- With every episode's title card, one of the gang announces the guest star, which is Scooby this time.
- Liu is an artist in real life.
- Fred says "Hold the phone" once.
- Daphne says "Jeepers" once.
- Lucy Liu previously played one of the Zin daughters in two episodes of The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest.
Errors
- Shaggy and Scooby imagine throwing up in a toilet if they were to eat the day-old donuts, except due to censoring, the two can't actually be seen to be properly enacting it, so they've been animated so that they are doing it behind a wall and aiming at the top of the seat, where they would technically be making a bigger mess, but of course, that can't obviously be animated, either, so the whole joke just loses all focus.
