Behind the scenes
- The Pilot episode was actually later reworked into the episode "The Ramblin' Wreck".
- The pilot had some differences to the series that were later reworked:
- Marge and Penny not only had different designs, but also used the voice actor of one another.
- Freight Train was originally named "Night Train".
- Coach MadDog went unnamed, had a different design, including him not wearing glasses, and was voiced by Joe Besser instead of Alan Reed.
- This pilot reveals that Beverly was the last main character to be invented into the show, as she was absent for the pilot but present for the later reworked episode "The Ramblin Wreck".
