Release
Dates are in order of release:

- United Kingdom & Ireland: October 4, 2019 on Boomerang

Behind the scenes
- With every episode's title card, one of the gang announces the guest star, which is Shaggy this time.
- Weird Al previously met Mystery Inc. in the Batman: The Brave and the Bold episode "Bat-Mite Presents: Batman's Strangest Cases".
- The connection between Weird Al and dinosaurs looks to be a reference to his "Jurassic Park" song, which is a parody of the Universal Pictures film Jurassic Park. Both feature Frank Welker's voice. The same vocal effects can also be heard in another Universal film The Land Before Time.
- When Shaggy plays southpaw on the accordion, he performs "Flight of the Bumblebee".
- Weird Al sings the public domain "Hush, Little Baby".
- How many times does Daphne say "Jeepers"? Twice.
- How many times does Shaggy say "Zoinks"? Twice.
- How many times does Velma say "Jinkies"? Once.
Errors
- The sign says "Al's Accordion Camp", while Weird Al reads it as "Weird Al's All-Accordion Marching Band Camp".
- In the first night shot, the moon is full, but when Mystery Inc. is riding away from the dinosaur and the gang stop, the moon is crescent. The moon is back to being full when they set the trap.
Everlasting influence
Big Bob McAllister is brought back as a villain in "The Horrible Haunted Hospital of Dr. Phineas Phrag!"
