Behind the scenes
- With every episode's title card, one of the gang announces the guest star, which is Shaggy this time.
- The race is a parody of those in Wacky Races. The old woman's racing outfit is pink just like Penelope Pitstop's.
- The chauffeur standing with two of the rich racers is essentially Mike from the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode "Decoy for a Dognapper."
- Shaggy says "Zoinks" twice.
- Scooby says "Ruh-roh" once.
