- United States: October 7, 2003 on VHS and DVD; December 12, 2003 on Cartoon Network
Behind the scenes
- The special's title is a reference to "Twas the night before Christmas." You're welcome.
- The Ponypuffs doll the Mayor wants is a parody of My Little Pony. The doll is also a connection to the Pony Puff Princess character who first appeared in the Dexter's Laboratory TV series.
Errors
- The Narrator says "My Little Horsey," but then the picture reveals it to be called "Ponypuffs: My Little Mare."
- Most of the names on the nice list are fake. When Princess begins reading from the list, she says names that aren't on there. Anton is also listed twice, and there's a made-up name, Es, instead of continuing the "A"s or starting the "B"s. When the first page is seen again, the last two rows are gone.
- When Princess says the Powerpuff Girls can't deny her any longer, her mouth doesn't move.
