"Countdown" is the first episode of Jana of the Jungle season one. It aired on September 9, 1978 on NBC. It was directed by Ray Patterson and Carl Urbano.
An experimental bomb designed to implode is let down in the jungle and stolen by the local tribe. This is really the plot of most episodes, i.e., Jana deals with all the superstitious, isolated tribes that don't know any better.
