Memorable quotes

Narrator: Well, Princess, the only cha-ching you'll be hearing from now on is the sound of the prison doors. And, so once again, the day is saved, thanks to the real Powerpuff Girls.

Behind the scenes
- Princess is the spoiled version of Annie Warbucks in the comic strip Little Orphan Annie, which was adapted into a musical and movies.
- The girl at Twiggy's cage is a prototype to Robin Snyder who debuted much later in "Superfriends."
- Blossom and Bubbles's Fastball Special is usually associated with the combo move of Wolverine and Colossus in Marvel Comics' X-Men.
- One of the bank robbers says, "I love it when a plan comes together," which was the popular line of John "Hannibal" Smith from the TV series The A-Team.
- The fight between Blossom and Princess is a homage to the anime Dragon Ball Z, which was also airing on Cartoon Network at the time; Blossom tilting her head to one side to avoid Princess's beam is specifically a reference to how Future Trunks avoided Android 18's beam.
