Bristlehound,[1] sometimes spelled Bristle Hound, is an anthropomorphic sheepdog, as well as the protector of Lambsy Divey in the It's the Wolf animated television shorts. He is voiced by Allan Melvin.
Character description
He is the protector of Lambsy and often would save Lambsy's life from the hands of Mildew Wolf, in which Lambsy would usually yell "It's the Wolf!" once he's seen through Mildew's disguise, this would cue Bristlehound to come and stop Mildew's kidnapping scheme, usually by throwing him into the air and into the horizon, this would cause Mildew to throw an insult towards Bristlehound while in the air.
