Richie Rich is the titular protagonist of the Richie Rich animated television series. He is the only child of the Rich family, a fantastically wealthy couple, and is known for his moniker, "the poor little rich boy". He is voiced by Sparky Marcus.

Behind the scenes
- While Richie Rich is based on the same character from the comic series published by Harvey Comics, he has some notable key differences:
- In the comics, Richie appears to be roughly seven to ten years old. The incarnation seen in the Hanna-Barbera cartoon is slightly older in appearance, and is estimated to be 12 years old.
- While the comic Richie usually wears a black waistcoat with an Eton collar and blue shorts, the cartoon Richie wears a red sweater with an "R" and blue pants. Both incarnations, however, wear a bow tie, although the comic version uses one that is colored red instead blue.
