Dell Comics was a comic book division of Dell Publishing. It was founded by George T. Delacorte, Jr. in 1929, of which the company published comic series (primarly licenced titles) until 1973. At its peak, Dell was the most prominent and successful American company in the medium.[1]
Several Hanna-Barbera cartoons were published as comic series by Dell, in addition to MGM's Tom and Jerry theatrical series.
