Behind the scenes
- This film localizes Mary's area more to be in Massachusetts.
- Efram Zimbalist, Jr. is credited as a special guest star. Of course, it is ironic that Efram Zimbalist, Jr. joins the cast when his daughter, Stephanie, is replaced.
- There are several cast changes from the previous film, with Gregory Harrison, Stephanie Zimbalist, Ronald Readinger, Maureen Readinger, and Mary Bradley Marable being replaced with Jameson Parker, Patricia Conwell, John Ine, Jessica Hill, and Rose Weaver, respectively.
- George compares Victor to possibly being like Svengali from the 1894 novel Trilby.
Errors
- Joey and Tiffany are credited with the Thornton surname.
