"The Cool Cat Contest" is the sixteenth episode of Motormouse and Autocat season two, and the thirty-second overall, which came as a segment of Motormouse. It aired on December 26, 1970 on ABC. It was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

To settle an argument, a contest is held between Autocat and Hap Cat, in which whoever catches Motormouse wins a date to the movies with a female cat.
