He's called "Herby" in "Wild Child". -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 06:23, 15 November 2021 (UTC)

That's cool. Do you think there's a chance of it popping up again? Because of course, I'd love to be able to give him a real name, but what's the context? Do you think it was HB just being funny or were they serious? Because they went through several names with Mr. Slate. Of course, I'm overthinking it. -- Signed by James (talk) 21:32, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
I'm not sure, but I believe the name was mentioned by his wife. I could look through some more episodes (maybe after that one?) and see if it pops up again because HB does tent to give names to characters, only for those names never to be mentioned again (though this isn't the case with Dibble or Smith, since they mostly had those names except that one occasion where Smith was called "Francis"). -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 21:41, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
If "Herby" does come up again, then it calling him "King Herby" would be a good idea. -- Signed by James (talk) 21:56, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
Yeah, if he doesn't have a different name mentioned (other than "Herby") then that would also work. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 22:02, 15 November 2021 (UTC)
