About Ringo Starr

Hey James, did you know that Ringo Starr was the drummer of The Beatles and was also a narrator of the first two seasons of Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends in the UK from 1984 and 1986 before the late Michael Angelis took over in the third season of that show in 1991?

Starr also played Mr. Conductor on the first season of Shining Time Station in 1989 and also narrated the US dub of 25 episodes of the first series and 17 episodes of the second series of Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends before George Carlin took over in both the third and fourth series of the US dub of that show as well as re-narrate the US dubs of the first and second series of the aforementioned show as well and as Mr. Conductor for the rest of the show and Mr Conductor's Thomas Tales as well.
