Talk:MeTV
Hi there. MeTV, an acronym for Memorable Entertainment Television, is an American broadcast television network owned by Weigel Broadcasting. Marketed as "The Definitive Destination for Classic TV", the network airs a variety of classic television programs from the 1950s through the late 2000s. It was launched on January 6, 2003 as a programming block on WFBT-CA and eventually as a national network on December 15, 2010.
Programmes which are broadcast on MeTV include The Flintstones (since September 2019), The Jetsons (since February 21, 2021), Bugs Bunny & Friends (which includes Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons), Popeye and Pink Panther's Party (which includes Betty Boop, The Inspector, and Roland and Ratfink) and The Tom and Jerry Show (which also includes other MGM Cartoons such as Droopy, Barney Bear, and Screwball Squirrel), all since 2021, respectively.

The Flintstones and The Jetsons removed on MeTV
The last time I checked on MeTV's website, it seems that both The Flintstones and The Jetsons have been removed from their broadcasting schedule. According to a January 2025 PDF, The Flintstones has been replaced with The Brady Bunch for two blocks on 10:00 to 10:30 AM, while The Jetsons has been replaced with Happy Days on 11:00. Personally, I think it has something to do with MeTV Toons being a thing, and while I personally enjoyed Happy Days for some reason (thanks in no part to that one Wheezer music video), it really leaves me no room to watch these cartoons legally on TV nowadays.
I know this sounds a bit much, but I used to watch these cartoons on Teletoon Retro, as I was in Canada and it existed before its shutdown in 2015. I then got access to these two again on MeTV through a cable plan from Shaw, since I live in a B.C. area that's close enough to pick up a signal from Seattle, Washington. Despite this, I am currently not able to get access to MeTV Toons from my provider and I'm itching to find any viable options to view it within my area. If anyone has an answer, leave it below.
I'm a bit disappointed that I won't be able to see them on TV anymore (at least for now), but I'm not mad. Just happy that they moved to a free sister channel made solely for cartoon reruns, not that it happened the last time though. -- QuestJ65 (talk) 07:03, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
