I haven't been writing the Arabian Knights characters the same way; see Prince Turhan for example. I didn't think it was necessary. Should I be saying that the shorts are part of Banana Splits? -- MisterJames (talk) 18:28, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
- Ah ok, should I remove the "segment of" part then? I honestly didn't think that should be mentioned on the character articles because we could have that mentioned on the segment main page (e.t. We already have Hokey Wolf is a segment of the Huckleberry Hound Show on the main Hokey Wolf segment page so we don't really need to mention it on the character pages, so same thing could be said with Crazy Claws and other segments). -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 18:54, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
- I think should leave it out and just treat their own segments as something independent, because as you said, the link can be accessed and readers will then see it was segments of a larger block. In fact, that's basically what it is, a block. Perhaps not like the 80s Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera, but still a similar kind of block. Does this still mean I'd have to do the same for the Arabian Knights stuff, like, "Prince Turhan is a character in the Arabian Knights shorts"? I don't really think it's misleading to refer to Hokey Wolf as a TV series, because it's still a show. Warner put all of Wally Gator on DVD by itself. To the average person who doesn't know all the intricate details, they're just watching The Wally Gator Show with just Wally Gator. -- MisterJames (talk) 19:24, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

I was wondering if the Bungle Brothers should just share an article here because unlike Augie and Daddy, their roles are almost always together. According to an official HB card I've found of Wally, his first cartoon premiered on September 3, 1963. So any source saying Wally was made in 1962 is incorrect because a similar issue came with Hokey when they said his first cartoon was in 1960 when really it was in 1961 (According to Yowp). Wally was the lead segment in The Hanna-Barbera New Cartoon Show but the show would sometimes be referred to as The Wally Gator Show (my guess is, it's referred to that by fans). -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 20:35, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Cats
Would Crazy Claws fall under cats or some other category? I marked Lippy and Snagglepuss as Lions, but Claws isn't exactly a Lion. -- Snoopy The Dog (talk) 04:03, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
