In popular culture
- The Young Justice episode "First Impression" has several tributes, which include Brooklyn, Maine being known for its summer tourism the same as Crystal Cove being known for its haunted tourism, while Sheriff Maguire and Mayor Thomas Tompkins resemble (and the former also sounding like) Sheriff Stone and Mayor Jones, with Mayor Tompkins having a similar relationship with his daughter, Tommi, for snooping where she doesn't belong, as well as sharing a first name, mirroring Mayor Jones and Fred.
