Sgt. T.K. Yu was an unsold American live-action police comedy-drama television pilot produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for prime-time viewing which had a single airing by NBC on April 19, 1979. It was written by Gordon T. Dawson, and directed by Paul Stanley. It starred Johnny Yune as the title character T.K. Yu, a police detective who transfers from Korea to Los Angeles in an exchange program. When not working for the police, he moonlights as a stand-up comic at a night club.

It was originally meant to air on January 24,[1] but was postponed at the last minute, indicating that NBC had no interest in picking the series up,[2] before deciding to air the pilot as a one-off special.[3]

Below, the rest of the article will be treated as an episode article would be.

Yu investigates the murder of a young rock singer.
