Punkin' Puss & Mushmouse is a series of animated segments as part of The Magilla Gorilla Show, produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. The series aired in syndication. It ran from 1964 and 1966, airing 23 episodes that spanned two seasons.
Taking inspiration from previous creations, such as Tom and Jerry or Pixie and Dixie, the series, set in the hillbilly hills, follows a hillbilly cat named Punkin' Puss, who constantly pesters the defensive-less hillbilly mouse, Mushmouse, who, in return, tends to outwit the hillbilly cat.
The entire series has been released on DVD.
