"For Letter or Worse" is the fifth episode of A Pup Named Scooby-Doo season one. It aired on October 8, 1988 on ABC. It was written by Bill Matheny, Lane Raichert, and Laren Bright, and voice directed by Gordon Hunt.

Shaggy and Scooby are contestants on a game show called For Letter or Worse, competing against a pair of super-intelligent twins. The taping is interrupted when the ghost of Al Cabone invades the studio. It's up to the Scooby-Doo Detective Agency to defeat the ghost and return the game show to normal.
