"Fantzee Pantz" is a song written by Andy Sturmer, Mark Banker, and Mitch Watson for the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episode "In Fear of the Phantom." It was performed by Sturmer. From an in-universe point of view, it was performed and possibly written by Daniel Frizette, under the stage name of one-hit-wonder, Fantzee Pantz.

History

After surviving the explosion of The Hex Girls' tour bus, caused by Daniel as the Phantom, Shaggy found a piece of the Phantom's glittery cloth from his cape. Using an unprecedented amount of deductive reasoning (or more so because Shaggy has a vast knowledge of washed-up disco performers), Shaggy looked up Fantzee Pantz's old music video, where he wore a cape and pants of similar material. Not only that but Gus Boggs had originally been Daniel's manager before ditching him for the Hex Girls, who Daniel was also forced to end up writing songs for. This is what leads Shaggy and Scooby-Doo to accuse Gus to be the Phantom (instead of more obviously Daniel), perhaps out of revenge losing Daniel to the Hex Girls, but Gus was more than happy to get rid of Daniel in favor of the Hex Girls.

Lyrics

Dance in my pants
Dance in my pants
Hey!
Don't be afraid when the demon chants
Whoo!

Dance in my pants
Dance in my pants
Don't be afraid when the demon chants

Dance in my pants
Dance in my pants
Hey!
Don't be afraid when the demon chants

Dance in my pants
Dance in my pants
Don't be afraid when the demon chants

Dance in my pants
Dance in my pants
Don't be afraid when the demon chants

(and possibly a fifth time as well, and probably sixth, seventh, eighth, and so on, if the song kept on going)
