Boomerang was an American programming block that originally aired on Cartoon Network. The block originally aired what Boomerang would later air in their heydays, which consisted of Hanna-Barbera, Ruby-Spears, MGM, Popeye and Looney Tunes. The block begun on December 8, 1992 and continued to air on Cartoon Network until Boomerang was later spun off into its own channel on April 1, 2000.
