A Fallible Fable is the thirty-second animated theatrical short of the Loopy De Loop series. It was distributed by Columbia Pictures on May 16, 1963. It was written by Dalton Sandifer and was produced and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, the founders of Hanna-Barbera.

After a wolf quit his role in the Little Red Riding Hood story, Loopy takes over, but unfortunately for him, a lot of drama happens, so much so that Loopy is thrown out from his role.
